My Daddy Can Fix Anything…

Yep. Dad’s get a day too. And maybe someday in their kids’ lives they’ll tire of the homemade crafty type present. But, thankfully, the fathers that employ me are not there yet. So, it’s fun to make things for them. Luckily I found the cutest things.

Turtle and Monkey made these:

Monkey's. Large craft sticks painted his (and his father's) favorite color, glued to a paper where I'd dotted the letters so they could outline "Dad" then they glued on the tools.

I might have went overboard on the dotting, but they’d never done this before and I wasn’t sure how much guidance they needed. Turned out, a lot less would have been just as good. Next time.

Turtle's. His favorite color is also green, with blue coming in a close second.

I was going to write “My Daddy Can Fix Anything” on them, but I liked that they wrote Dad instead and also, they went a bit crazy with the screws and whatnot. So, I decided to let the whole project be theirs and kept my bits out of it.

Then for Froggy and Koala, I got to paint them:

And Froggy's. Cutest Monsters!

And Turtle thought it looked so much fun, he decided to paint himself too.

This kid apparently loves the feel of paint on his fingers...
